Sugar-kun

Lemon-chan’s cuddly bestie—a soft, fluffy, white plushie. He gets squished flat now and then by her wild antics, but this shy, clumsy sweetheart always sticks by her side, a kind and reliable friend.

When Life Gives You Lemons

The old saying goes, "When life gives you lemons, make lemonade." This simple wisdom is the heart of Lemon & Sugar's story. Just like the recipe for lemonade needs lemons, sugar, and water in perfect balance, life too needs both its sweet and sour moments. Simply adding lemons to sweetened water creates a refreshing drink that can lift your spirits. While easy to make, the balance between lemons and sugar is crucial - too much of either, or the lack of one, and the lemonade loses its magic.

Life works the same way. It's not always sugar-sweet and pleasant; sometimes it rolls those sour lemons your way. But it's precisely these unexpected moments that make the lemonade of life sparkle. Lemon and Sugar, different as night and day in both looks and personality, occasionally squabble but always find their way back to each other. Like the perfect lemonade, they complement each other's qualities, sharing slightly magical everyday moments together.

Graduated from Tama Art University's Department of Graphic Design. After collaborating with character production companies and design agencies, he began his journey under the banner of LEMONA DESIGN. In addition to commercial designs, he has been expanding his original characters "Lemon & Sugar" both domestically and internationally. Not limited to illustrations and animations, he crafts diverse creations utilizing equipment like embroidery machines and laser processing machines.
